Located just 6.8 miles from Newcastle city center this hotel features excellent facilities including a restaurant brasserie lounge bar and an 18-hole championship golf course. There's also a swimming pool a hot tub and a steam room. The hotel makes a good base for all and is great for a weekend away in a place that has something for everyone. Shopaholics will enjoy the famous Metro Centre shopping mall and Northumbria boasts beautiful coastlines and historic sights. The refurbished bedrooms feature tea/coffee facilities and a flat-screen TV. Free Wi-Fi is also available and ironing facilities are provided. Disappointing

Disliked: The spa area was smaller than expected, the jacuzzi had a film over it when the water was still.

The spa is nice but...

Liked: Comfortable mattress. The Spa is great: excellent sauna, steamer and jacuzzi. The pool is superb and allows swimmin
Disliked: Due to the refurbishment of the hotel the TV was not functional. There is also only one restaurant in the hotel and it is small. For a three star hotel I expected better.
