Located just 6.8 miles from Newcastle city center this hotel features excellent facilities including a restaurant brasserie lounge bar and an 18-hole championship golf course. There's also a swimming pool a hot tub and a steam room. The hotel makes a good base for all and is great for a weekend away in a place that has something for everyone. Shopaholics will enjoy the famous Metro Centre shopping mall and Northumbria boasts beautiful coastlines and historic sights. The refurbished bedrooms feature tea/coffee facilities and a flat-screen TV. Free Wi-Fi is also available and ironing facilities are provided. Another good stay & will...

Disliked: Breakfast is too expensive (£15 is booked in advance). Being at the end of a ‘wing’ can be noisy in the morning from housekeeping.

Good location, polite staff, heating...

Liked: Good location, spacious room.
Disliked: The hotel was really hot, both the restaurant and room were far too hot, even with the window open in the room until 10pm it was too hot.
