Room good, everything else poor

Liked: The check in process was very long, despite there being 5 people only one could use a computer. We were given a room that smelt like lynx deoderant and was over a tram line. The air conditioning did not work and could only be used for heating despite one of the particulars of this hotel being they have air conditioning. We asked to change rooms, this led to about 20 mins of administrative gaffing about. New room was good but the sink was blocked, had to get someone to look at this. Another 40 minutes. After about an hour and a half we could go out. Other things that were not great, manager would go for a smoke right at the hotel door often right next to where non smoking guests were sitting outside. Gym requires a card permission to be added this did then not work and my husband had to run around after this. In the gym no air conditioning and the window did not open so he nearly fainted after his workout due to it being so hot. Outdoor area surrounded by weeds and rubbish and could really use a clean up. Downstairs bar was closed despite 20 people sitting in reception. Were sent to level one to use bathrooms which were dirty with no loo roll. I would get a full new group of staff.

Liked: The hotel is execptional, centrum..all new..and the best now they have gym..i love this hotel!

This Hotel was excellent and...

Liked: This Hotel was a big surprise, it felt very welcoing and the rooms were simple but very comfortable, the Restaurant was a huge surprise and we enjoyed a really nice dinner there. Breakfast too was excellent and I wouldn't hesitate staying at this hotel again. It was also very close to Montpellier Centre. Highly recommeneded

Two nights in Montpellier

Liked: Good location close to Comédie square and the old town and the station. Clean room, small gym, all amenities you need.
Disliked: It was quite confusing finding the hotel by foot from the station.
