We were put in a room that backed onto the car park, it was very noisy. Also there was no kettle in the rooms so we were unable to make a cup of tea. We have stayed in hotels that cost less and are better maintained and you are better looked after. I would not recommend this hotel and it was out near busy motorways and a £17 cab ride to get to Mote Park.

Liked: Clean apart from the dead flies on the window sill. Lots of parking space.
Disliked: Not good value for money.

Liked: Good location, good sized rooms, nice leisure facilities.
Disliked: Difficult to park on event nights

Comfortable Stay

Liked: The hotel stay was overall comfortable and good value for money. The breakfast offered a large variety of options and check in was simple.
Disliked: The hotel is quite dated and some parts could do with some care i.e. tennis courts, room furnishings.

Perfect

Liked: Very nice. A great place to stay for a night before going to Dover and on the ferry to make my way slowly back to Switzerland. The staff were great, and Nina on the reception was very helpful

Liked: Breakfast was ok.
Disliked: room, beds are very hard. Windows allow even when fully closed a lot of sound through so not a quiet night considering so close to the road. Breakfast was ok. but steep price for what it was. Dinner service was so poor..... over 2 hours for our meal and we had to ask several times for dessert menu and our bill. Was never offered any drinks. Variety was poor.

Liked: We stayed as I had a conference there the next day. We wanted to use the pool and the spa facilities and the gym. The room was nice and the bed was really comfy. Sadly, the pool is in great need of repair. And the spa pool was a mass of foam, so we didn't use it. I could not smell chlorine, which alarmed me. The sauna is in each individual changing room, so that was strange.
