Liked: Mugs in rooms too small love a good cuppa in the mornings but other than that beds were comfortable staff very pleasant lovely place to stay.

Great hotel let down by...

Liked: Great hotel - clean and friendly staff - nice room overlooking the river
Disliked: In dispute about payments. The hotel took full payment for the stay as Mercure then charged me for a no show fee as OYO hotels. OYO refusing to accept responsibilty now escalated with Booking direct. OYO have just taken over from Mercure I gather. Make sure that you ask for a full receipt.

Staying without breakfast is good...

Liked: Comfortable room welcoming staff, parking,and location near town centre
Disliked: Breakfast is expensive

if you like total quiet...

Liked: the staff were great, rooms clean and comfortable
Disliked: woken at just before 0400 by a delivery of bed linen for the hotel they made a hell of a lot of noise. it it had been 0700 this would have been fine. couldn’t get back to sleep

Disliked: Balcony was attached to the next room so wasn’t comfortable leaving door open to observe the river view.
