Enjoyed the stay, nice hotel,...

Liked: Location was excellent, parking, bar facilities and breakfast was excellent.
Disliked: Issue when checking in as only one room showing on records when two booked. Quickly given the missing room, however, when opening the room it was already occupied!! Given another room (5 floors down so again carrying luggage) only for the room keycard not to work and needed maintenance. Someone from reception had to open the door for us on multiple occasions as it took 12 hours for the door to be repaired. Not ideal.

Pleasant

Liked: During checking in, I was very surprised that I had to pay extra 20£ per night for a dog! I was very disappointed! Because when I do booking there was no additional information anywhere that we would have to pay extra for pet! If I had known we would have to pay, I wouldn't have booked this hotel...The reception staff are very nice, smiled, seemed friendly. What I wouldn't say about F&B, we come for a brekfast waiting staff didn't ask how we were doing or if we had a good evening last night. Didn't even say where it was standing coffee machine, juice & etc... It seems that there is a lack of experience and manager should train employees better. The hotel is a bit tired, but the housekeeping cleaned the room well. In the room you can hear what's happening behind the wall in the another room. The walls should be soundproof! We also found in the room the webbing clothes moth! They hid behind the curtains! The hotel should throw away these old, outdated curtains... The carpeting is also tired, full of stains... Should replace the carpeting or clean it with the carpet machine. The bin in the bathroom was broken. The room was cold because there was no heater only air conditioner who was too weak to warm the room. The windows cant open...The elevator arrives quickly which is good because you don't have to wait long. Also the location of the hotel is very good! Just need to renovate the hotel, because it looks old...

Absolutely brilliant

Liked: The hotel was in immaculate condition , perfect location , rooms were very spacious and bed very comfortable , our room had lovely views of the river Mersey and the patio area on floor 2 was excellent for views to . The staff were amazing and friendly . Would recommend this hotel to anyone . The only down point I would say is the outside of the hotel could do with a new coat of paint to freshen it up as it doesnt do the inside justice
Disliked: Nothing to not like

Disliked: Very little sleep due to bed being very hard and noise from other rooms. We could hear every word that was being said.

Pleasant

Liked: Location was close to the docks which was required,so good. Didn't know it was next to a church with the bells going on a Sunday.
Disliked: Room was small, facilities basic, intrusive noise from the corridor from people been out. Breakfast was poor, don't know where they get the idea of how they cook porridge.
