Lovely place to stay in...

Liked: Lovely buildings and location with pleasant gardens and beautiful old trees. Room was neat, comfy and spacious. Breakfast and dinner were delicious! Staff very kind and friendly.
Disliked: Could have been improved by better TV and streaming facilities, toiletries, a fridge and room service meals.

Liked: Good breakfast. Clean room. Good size bed. Pleasant staff. Plenty of parking. Quiet location. Breakfast available from 7a.m. on a weekend. Good number of staff for the number of guests i.e. not kept waiting for long either at dinner or breakfast. Tea & coffee available in room. Shower good temperature and pressure.Use of the attached Nuffield gym/swimming pool a bonus.
Disliked: No sockets available close to the bed in the room in which we stayed which is not helpful when you have medical aids for overnight to plug in - not sure if this is a feature of all rooms. Loads of sockets the opposite side of the room oddly.Only liquid soap in the bathroom. No complimentary shampoo/conditioner like other similar establishments.
