Superb

Well appointed comfortable hotel

Liked: Clean. Had everything in the room I needed, tea/coffee, beakers, hair dryer, tv etc. Liked having a dressing table with sockets beside. Plenty of lights & lamps. Bathroom well equipped. Did well to cope during disruption
Disliked: Carpets rather worn. Woodwork needs cleaning & painting eg skirting boards. Breakfast needed trays refilling quicker - had to wait for sausages, missed out on beans & ran out of yogurts. Make hotel sign more prominent at entrance would be helpful

Liked: Room was ok and clean.
Disliked: Hotel is very run down. Having a refurb but was not mentioned on booking. Bar was closed so couldn’t even get a drink. Corridors were very cold.

Liked: Spacious property evening dinner was well presented and served in good time, with all fresh ingredients.Good gym facilities with in the Halls grounds.I would definitely return.
Disliked: Very spacious with old character.

Lovely family break to relax...

Liked: The staff were great, nothing was too much. Rita was excellent with our children at breakfast and was so kind. The room was large and comfortable. The gym and pool are great and everything you'll need. Waitrose is just down the road.
Disliked: Pool swimming times for kids were quite restrictive at the Nuffield gym, there was no fridge in the room and food choices in the bar were a little limited. The kids' playground was broken which was a shame because it would have been a great addition.
