Liked: Absolutely EVERYTHING ! I will look for a Hotel Mercure from now on whenever we travel; it was that outstanding. We ate as many meals as we could at the hotel which is unusual since we normally like to try out various places. The breakfast buffet was incredible. I don't know if it was the food or the ambience of the restaurant, but we made a point of getting breakfast every day and ate dinner there I believe ALL but one night out of a week long stay in Katowice. The location was ideal… Close to the mall, close to the train station, close to the Square. we were there for a Hyrox event and while it wasn't a designated hotel, it should've been. The beds were comfortable, the staff was friendly. In particular, I would like to shout out to Maria who made sure I had hot oatmeal each day. Something like that is very vital when you are competing overseas.
