Liked: the room was clean and comfortable. breakfast was nice could have been a little warmer. great room for having fuctions
Disliked: the prices at the bar were a bit extorsionate

Bad

Disliked: The property is very out of date and not value for money . The shower didn't work properly , no water in the rooms and the carpet in the Resturant was very dirty with slug trails on the carpet

Not pleasant, won’t return.

Liked: It was quiet
Disliked: Took an age to check in, room was clean but dated, bathroom was tired and in need of updating. Bed was very uncomfortable and pillows were too hard and lumpy.

Disappointing

Liked: Staff were friendly. Room a decent size. Breakfast ok
Disliked: Restaurant was poor. Hotel was tired and a bit shabby.

Liked: Linda the staff member was extremely helpful when we arrived!Property was clean and very welcoming.
Disliked: Loved all the property! Just didn’t think there was enough Staff behind the bar.

It was not okay

Liked: The reception was great
Disliked: The checked out time and my pick up time had two hours interval. And I had to wait outside the smoking area for the whole 2hrs. Although I explained to the staff. I think they did not care.

Passable

Disappointing and unpleasant

Liked: The location was convenient.
Disliked: The rooms looked nothing like they do online. The hotel is very much rundown and needs a refurbishment. Compared to similarly priced hotels in the area this was a shock. The cleaning of the rooms wasn’t thorough either. We found hairs in the bed, the carpets needed a deep clean around 10 years ago. The mattress was so old you could feel the springs, so a good nights sleep was out of the question. The staff were extremely unhelpful and unbothered - if you would bring any issues to their attention or ask for help with something it was as if we were asking them for a kidney. So rude and unprofessional it was shocking. Terrible stay.

Wedding day

Liked: Good selection of breakfast. Friendly staff.
Disliked: Wedding reception staff were not very organised. Parts of the wedding needed more guidance given to the couple's guests. No one to show guests where to go. No drink service at the table when you first sat down for your meal. The evening buffet food, some of pork was not cooked properly for hog roast, luckly no one ate it.Luckily, this did not ruin the day.
