Liked: Lovely location - although wouldn't like to have to find it in the dark. Friendly staff. Lovely dinner. Good breakfast.

Liked: Lovely sized room, very clean , helpful staff. The food was tasty as well
Disliked: Although there was plenty of tea and coffee in the room there was only one pod of milk so come the morning one of us had to have our drink black. I thought it was only us but everyone in our party had the same issue.

Disliked: The eaves of room I was staying in meant there was little headroom above the bed so I had to be careful getting in and out of bed

So much potential, but it...

Liked: This was a stay for a business meeting and everything was OK, nothing stand out but nothing bad. Just nice. The layout is a bit unusual with lots of stairs. If you have limited mobility or a wheelchair this is not the hotel for you.With its grounds and setting it could be spectacular, but it just isn't, it's average at best.Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Disliked: The car park was rammed when I arrived, but the hotel seemed empty. That felt unusual. There was nothing wrong with anything, but the whole place just felt underwhelming.
