Liked: Good value for money for a room in merchant City on New Year's Eve. Staff were very helpful and friendly! Great for what we needed.
Disliked: The room was pretty small but had all the basics. A little tatty/old decor/finish. Hairs found in the bathroom and one towel had what looked like mascara stains.

Liked: Massive bed and comfy, great location, very pleasant staff, we asked for more tea coffee etc in the room and got a prompt service, also the lifts were very fast, definitely be back
Disliked: Could have more tea coffee initially. U only have enough for one cup each

Liked: I loved the location, close to both train stations and in the heart of the city. The bed was really comfortable and the size of the room and bathroom was perfect. The big windows facing the street were beautiful. The staff were cordial and helpful.
Disliked: The toilet made bubbly noises in the middle of the night. I could hear the toilet flushing in the room next door.The wifi connection was terrible.

Mercure standard was good.
