Disliked: It is a little tired and not as it was in 1995Due a makeover. Comfortable and clean.Good for an overnight and very safe.

Nice hotel. Brilliant staff.

Liked: The staff at Mercure were absolutely fantastic. Every staff member that came into contact with my (very chatty) 3 year old would interact with him. We stayed over the Christmas period and he was given a Santa tray to put outside the door on the night before Christmas. He woke up to the food being eaten and a gift left outside the door. Such an amazing experience for him. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the breakfast is great.
Disliked: Could do with some slight upgrades here and there.

Disliked: The toilet in our room was not cleaned from the people before so had to change rooms at 11 at night with 2 baby’s very stressful

Average overall, I'd not rush...

Liked: Front desk very helpful and attentive. Great Spa and pool.
Disliked: Gym was a bit basic, and the hotel needed a bit more customer service overall I thought.. bar not staffed fully, seemed like more staff were needed on during the breakfast period.. the food was not special and much of it ran out near the end (bread, butter, Croissants etc)..

Liked: Changed rooms 3 times as tv didn’t work, one room had a buzz of extractor fan and third smelt of smoke
