Liked: Staff friendly and polite. We had to change rooms as the heating was not working. This was arranged quickly and without fuss.

Liked: Toilet seat had a crack and bedside light not working I brought this to the attention and it was sorted and 2 free drinks offered. The maintained manger was fantastic

Lovely hotel but some customer...

Liked: The breakfast was really lovely.Local to the park and ride to Chester which was really convenient. Lovely grounds The two young ladies doing breakfast were lovely and a young gentleman behind the bar on the Monday evening Very dog friendly
Disliked: Unfortunately we arrived at the same time as a coach party, despite there only being myself for 1 room to be checked in, the gentleman on reception would not , he declined and started to check the coach party in. 35 minutes later after waiting we were still ignored whilst he then continued to check a further 3 couples in. When I questioned this he told me he could not leave the reception desk, this I believe to be untrue and non sensicle. We were sat in the bar area not 10 feet from reception and were easily approachable from reception. There was a young Gentleman behind the bar who could see our feistrations and checked that we were okay. We asked for a heater as the room was extremely cold and we were unable to use the radiator. After 1hr and 40 minutes (and 2 reminders) we were brought a portable heater.
