One night stay. Lovely room...
Liked: Very clean, helpful staff, large well equipped rooms and nice leisure centre. We had a small dog with us and they gave us us a ground floor room next to the exit.
Disliked: Nothing

A bit disappointed
Liked: The staff was lovely, and the good and drinks were great
Disliked: There was a lot of noise while we were trying to sleep, and the light from the corridor seeped through the door. We had to use towels to cover it, which meant we had to wait for clean ones the next day. Additionally, the room didn’t match the advertised pictures, which was disappointing.

Budget hotel but not budget...
Liked: We were offered an accessible room which was ideal for. Staff were unfailingly friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was wonderful with lots of choice. The hotel has a happy atmosphere. Gardens are lovely to view from the window. The outside lighting meant that our room was just dark enough. We had a fridge which was very convenient, beds were very comfortable.
Disliked: A swivel door to get in or a single door operated from inside. Double doors in the corridor difficult for a wheelchair. The room was hot until we turned off the radiator and opened the top window. A fan was provided. The tap in the bathroom was falling apart but we were assured that maintenance will sort that out.

Pleasant
Liked: How close the hotel was to Chester Zoo and other amendities. The temperature of the room. There is plenty to choose from at breakfast buffet.Great parking facility.Plenty of towels, fresh both days.Quiet and a good night sleep.
Disliked: The shower temperature wasn't working, ice cold.Glass on the bedside tables were both loose. Our toddler kept pulling at them.Very creaky floorboards. Mould around the window frames

Great location, great breakfast, but...
Liked: Comfortable and clean rooms and breakfast was really plentiful and good quality, with lots of fresh fruit, cereals, pastries and juices in addition to the cooked buffet breakfast. All the staff we came across were really lovely and the bar man was great.
Disliked: The walls of the room must be paper thin as I was still awake at 4am, listening to the tv from next door, which didn't seem to be blaring so not reasonable to complain, but it was as if I was in the room with them. Also we used the swimming pool before breakfast which was lovely, except that the changing rooms are pretty grim, the shower in there was awful and there was only one tiny curtained option to dress in unless you wanted no privacy. It is a shame as this could be a real asset. Not 4* at all I'm afraid.
