sneaky parking charges

Liked: Advertised price was good. Rooms clean.
Disliked: Sneaky additional parking charges, may be in the small print but wasn't upfront on booking.com and totally unjustified (on the outskirts of city) ... I stayed in the hotel 2 weeks previously and when I said there were no charges then, they told me there had been 'an offer on' which I am skeptical about. Such underhand startles put me off a place. Won't stay with brands who play these games. put the price into the room upfront, don't hide behind burried t&c's

Disliked: Somebody(housekeeping) entered my room without my permission although I had specifically requested not to. I had to complain to the reception, but this is highly intolerable and invasion of privacy

Disliked: Poor room cleanliness, damp sticky patch next to the bed, sticky substance on bedside table, dirty bathroom glass, and used soap in shower holder.Breakfast was good on the 1st morning, but on the second a couple came while I was having coffee and toast prior to getting a cooked breakfast that stank, filled 3 trays with everything they could pile on and were eating at the buffet whilst filling the trays and touching the food, it was disgusting and totally put me off eating. Staff saw this, when their conversation had eventually ended but did nothing. Staff were rude and didn't speak unless spoken to, not even a simple good morning. I've stayed here 4 or 5 times but never again. Also on tb the room information it says free parking for guests however they still charged £8 per night!Avoid.
