Stayed for one night and enjoyed the stay very much. The buffet breakfast was fantastic and my husband and I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

No fire evacuation process and...
Liked: The staff made us pay twice even though the payment had gone through Booking.com. Fire alarm went off in the middle of the night, when I went down there was no staff around, people were confused, no evacuation procedure. The alarm kept going off, the rooms locked us out so we couldn’t get back in. This went on for an hour couldn’t sleep after that as I had no confidence in their safety procedures. I complained the next morning, the staff were rude and said they couldn’t deal with any complaints because I booking through booking.com and to complain through them, which I did and the hotel have been unresponsive to my complaint. I paid £362 for 1 night stay without breakfast and the experience was awful. The service is terrible

Would stay again. But will...
Liked: The room was clean. The mini bar was empty "no soft drinks or news paper" no information about why this was so and no information how to get the soft drinks. 14th floor, the windows were dirty. The room was very cold and air conditioning was on full but cold air. Also pillow protectors were not on pillows. Very basic tea and coffee. Over charged for the extra chicken, £6 instead of £3, but this was due to the till and not human error. Was a stunning room, bed was comfortable and clean. Speciality coffee was nice. Heaters were available. Bath was deep, and very hot water available. Very quiet area in the corner. Staff were excellent, breakfast was very good and gluten free available. Alternative milk was available also. Morning chef was polite,positive attitude and helpful. Had a problem leaving the basement in the car as the shutter would not open. Had to ring up and signal was terrible. But the gentleman rang back and opened the shutter eventually.
