A lovely place to stay

Liked: The location is great - close to Bristol but with a country feel. The hotel gets the balance just right between being relaxed and running to high standards. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The beds are generous and comfortable too.The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice.The food menu offers a good choice as well and isn't expensive.

Liked: Staff were fab, lovely grounds, very homely and comfortable especially the bed.
Disliked: Quite tired and needs a refresh

Liked: Beautiful dining area and bar, great food, friendly and helpful staff and good value for money.
Disliked: Quality of the room wasn’t the best - creaky floor boards, Lyme scale in the bathroom and worn furniture.

Liked: The hotel staff was great and supportive. The maintenance was a bit ignored. Apart from that all good.
Disliked: The bathroom was very ordinary. The heaters didn't work so had to rely on electric one
