Liked: Shower was small but powerful.Great BreakfastWhen we raised concerns about lunch, staff dealt with our concerns to our satisfaction and with no fuss
Disliked: The room was tiny and cold when we arrived. Took a while to warm up. Parking was an additional £18 for every 24 hours. We were told that dinner was unavailable, so ordered bar food. The next day, lunch was very disappointing

Great value and a wonderful...

Liked: We loved the hotel location and that we could park at the hotel. Our room was ready at 1pm, which was wonderful. The shower was lovely. Marta was fantastic, what an incredible welcome, a real asset tp the Mercure. My partner is returning to Brighton in April and will definitely be hoping to stay at the Mercure.
Disliked: It would have been nice to have a full length mirror in the bedroom, however the mirror in the bathroom was great as it did not steam up. I was fortunate that my hair straightners lead ran under the bathroom door so I could use the that mirror.

Liked: We had a fabulous time, the hotel was in a great location, and the staff were great, and the facilities and room were spacious and comfortable.

Wouldn’t recommend or stay again.

Liked: Liked location, the man on reception was very friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Although the important things were clean in the room ( eg bed, shower & toilet ) the room was very tired. Multiple Stains on carpet, lots of marks on walls. Very noisy at night, loud music could be heard after 11pm from reception area and yet we were up on the 3rd floor.. We paid £12 each for what was made to sound like a buffet breakfast. On arrival to breakfast I chose to make my own breakfast however you could only choose one of each option, meaning I paid £12 for a single sausage, some beans & a single hash brown.. introducing individual prices for each items would make more sense. The bar was extremely pricey too, charging £9.60 for a single shot of house vodka. Although it states there is parking the car park is very small for such a large hotel. We did manage to get a spot however it costs £24 for 24hours parking, you can however get this down to £18 for 24hrs at reception if you sign up to the hotels app. Overall definitely wouldn’t recommend..
