Lovely hotel with a stylish...

Liked: Beautiful hotel with a stylish interior. The main staircase is stunning! Lovely staff. We were made to feel welcome. Room was spacious, considering it was a standard double. I do not really understand some of the negative reviews as for the price, it was great, we have stayed in hotels in Eastbourne for the same price or more and the rooms were horrid compared to this.
Disliked: Our pillows were very hard so, I spoke to a man on reception (Salah?) and he got is some softer ones. The toilet did not flush well at all. But apart from those couple of things, we loved staying at the hotel.

Liked: Lovely location. Reception staff were incredibly helpful,nothing too much trouble and really friendly as were the rest of the staff. Could not be faulted.
Disliked: The building is getting very tired looking. Rooms need a major refurb. It could be amazing. When flushed toilet, plumbing really noisy as was running the tap after. I thought I was going to wake the whole hotel at 4.00 in the morning.
