Excellent for efficiency, but not...

Liked: This is a large and efficient business hotel in a useful, but unromantic , location on the main city ring road opposite the railway station. We were within easy walking distance of the (picturesque) city centre.Check-in (we arrived late as we could not find the way out of the station) was efficient, but we were disappointed that there was no restaurant in this large hotel, and the only place nearby was mainly pizzas and basic pasta dishes.The room was OK, but quite small. I asked at the reception for shower gel and shampoo, but they didn't give us any.Breakfast was good, with a large choice of dishes, some hot, some cold. The breakfast was served in a room with a view over a garden, and possibly the garden is open in summer for breakfast outside. Breakfast was served until late, 10.30 am, I think.The staff were very attentive - Maureen pulled the emergency cord in the shower by mistake, and someone phoned and then knocked on the door very quickly to make sure that all was OK.
Disliked: The room was well-equipped and everything functioned correctly, but it was characterless and lacking in any kind of charm.The view from our window was of a concrete building, which I assume we were part of. Only the garden was at all pretty, and we only saw this from the breakfast room.

I do recommend this hotel...

Liked: The location is just perfect, it’s literally in front of the train station. Nearby there are many nice cafes and restaurants.

Liked: Lovely and clean, the location was perfect right across from the train station. The room was bigger than expected and the bed was really comfy. The food on offer was also really good with loads of choice for breakfast.
Disliked: No critique, everything was lovely:)

Liked: The location is close to the train station, which is convenient. However, it is not in the city center. The breakfast was good, though the variety of cheeses could have been a bit more substantial.
Disliked: Our room was on the top floor. It was spacious, but very cold. The bathroom tap wasn't working properly, and the bathroom heater was also not functioning, which was surprising. The next day, I requested a room change, and the staff was helpful in accommodating this. Additionally, the breakfast area was quite cold
