Disliked: Heater not working in the room, no hot water for a shower.

A mostly pleasant stay but...

Liked: This was the third time we’ve stayed at Dunkenhalgh and as usual its location and setting is ideal, staff are friendly and helpful and although we didn’t use them this time the restaurant and spa are nice to have onsite. The room was comfortable and had all the necessary amenities needed.
Disliked: Unfortunately on this occasion our room was so far away from the main house, it was quite a walk. There wasn’t any hot water in our first morning and some dirty marks on the bed head that were off putting.The fire alarm went off at 2:30am and again at 2:45am - I couldn’t get through to anyone at reception to understand the situation, although I did get a response via a WhatsApp message and a letter under the door the following morning. Of course, these things happen but not the most relaxing of stays.

Disliked: They shouldnt be charging to use the pool.
