Strange but pleasant

Liked: The "rooms" were actually little cottages with your own parking outside. The grounds were lovely and really pretty in places.The staff were all very friendly and helpful
Disliked: The whole place, while not at all threadbare, was very dated and looked more like a 1970s working men's club!

Disliked: Flies in room, parking not close and double charging my room accidentally.

Very enjoyable

Liked: The rooms were very large and well appointed The grounds are lovely and well maintained - unfortunately it was wet so we could make full use of the area but the lake, ducks and frogs were lovely.The breakfast was very reasonable and a good variety food.
Disliked: The pillows were too hard and there was a limited menu in the dining room.
