Pleasant stay only spoilt by...
Liked: Nice sized room - the interior of the hotel had a modern and attractive vibe and a luxurious feel. The lift system was very user-friendly - there were 4 lifts and the floor pre-selection keypads made them very efficient. The breakfast was excellent, there was a good selection of cooked and chilled food on offer though the quality of the fresh pancakes was a bit hit and miss. The bar food was quite good and reasonably priced, but there was a limited selection. All the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay.Although quite a way out of town there was a tram service a short walk away directly into the centre. There was a department store and shopping centre opposite the hotel.
Disliked: We were surprised to be asked to pay when checking in rather than a the end of our stay. I had an issue with one of my cards which made the pay-as-you-go system within the hotel unnecessarily stressful. The location was busier than we expected.Something that is not mentioned is that there is a nightclub adjoining the back of the hotel, which is open from midnight until 6am. There was so much noise from the music and inebriated youths shouting loudly on the first night that we had to move rooms. Our second room was quieter but we could still hear the traffic on the main street 12 stories up! Lack of soundproofing in the rooms was generally a problem, thin walls and the double glazing in both the rooms did not lock properly which didn't help with noise from the street/traffic.The description on Booking.com lists the hotel as having four restaurants which is inaccurate. There was one restaurant, La Malia, which we didn't discover until the last day (this could have been much better promoted by the hotel). The other restaurant linked to the hotel is the Taberna de la Dehesa, a traditional restaurant located a few doors away down the street. There were no English TV channels and apparently no access to Netflix channels as suggested in the hotel info.

Liked: Beautiful modern hotel, in a great location for a Sevilla FC football trip and just a pleasant 20 minute walk through many parks into the fantastic city centre of Seville. The hotel has one of the best breakfast selections we have ever had in our lives. Staff were very friendly & treated our 18 month old so nicely. Overall, a very comfortable stay!
Disliked: 27 degrees and sunny is perfect weather for a British person to go for a swim, however the pool is closed during the 'winter'.
