Liked: Love our stays at the Metropole. Great position. Close to hospitals and trams and trains to the city, Rooms are large, comfortable and well equipped. Always a warm and friendly welcome.

Liked: Large rooms with plenty of space.
Disliked: The roof leaked due to storms. It was quickly dealt with but shouldn’t happen. I have stayed at the property many times and very little has changed, it feels a little tired and run down in certain areas.

Liked: The property was close to St Vincents Hospital where we were visiting a sick relative and there were many cafes & eateries nearby.
Disliked: There was a minor problem with ants on a pillow & climbing up a wall. When the matter was reported an employee came promptly to spray the ants.
