Mec Paestum Hotel is located 2625 feet from the UNESCO World Heritage archaeological site and the National Archaeological Museum in Paestum. Housed in an elegant building equipped with modern facilities this friendly hotel has a lot to offer. All rooms have a panoramic balcony and the hotel is surrounded by a lush Mediterranean garden. On-site facilities include a large sun terrace outdoor swimming pool and a heated crystal pool with hydromassage functions which make for a perfect day relaxing in the sun. From the 1st of June until the 30th of September all guests have free access to the private beach located 0.6 mi from the property and well-equipped with all facilities. The beach is reachable through a free shuttle service. There is also a private beach 1312 ft from the property accessible on surcharge. The Mec Paestum's restaurant is run by a renowned professional chef who will prepare local national and international specialties as well as being able to prepare personalized menus for those with particular dietary needs. Ideal as a luxurious base for trips to the surrounding area nearby you will find interesting sites such as Pompei and Herculaneum as well as the Pertosa caves and any number of the pretty towns located on the stunning Amalfi coast.

Liked: Nice room , good beach , nice hotel.
Disliked: Very limited selection for breakfast . Lots of partys ( weddings ,birthdays etc )Loud and till late. No one even said there will be a party.

Enjoyed

Liked: Good breakfast included, kind staff, private beach with beds, nice pool, good atmosphere, really cool surroundings
Disliked: Extra costs to get towels for beach, thought we would get a champagne as a present for our honeymoon, turned out to be a little pricy. The bed did not always stick together ( 2 single beds that can be attached, but that failed from time to time)Have to ask to change sheets. Airco did not work well.

Disappointing

Liked: The hotel is not a five star hotel. Beds were terrible. Only one pillow and a sheet given to sleep. The faucet and hardware in bathroom were rusty and calcified. Pools did not have towels, had to bring your own. Staff was nice but hotel is not somewhere I would go back to.
