We loved Madrid and hope...

Liked: We liked the location it is close to lots of restaurants and shopping.
Disliked: The coffee was broken in the lobby. This was unfortunate since local coffee shops don’t open until later in the morning. Also, our room was very warm.

Liked: Fabulous hotel in a very artsy area of old Madrid. This was my fourth stay at the hotel. Great breakfast. The staff is wonderful and the rooms are large and comfortable.

Liked: I recently stayed at the ME Madrid Reina Victoria, and while there were many positives, there were also several downsides that left me disappointed.First, the good: the location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Madrid, close to major attractions, amazing restaurants, and vibrant nightlife. The staff were friendly and professional, and the rooftop bar was a definite highlight, offering stunning views, delicious cocktails, and a great atmosphere. Breakfast was exceptional – fresh, varied, and clearly prepared with care.
Disliked: However, the rooms were a major letdown. They were far too small, which made the space feel cramped and uncomfortable. For the price, I expected much more. It simply doesn’t offer the value you would expect at this level, feeling far too expensive for what you actually receive. Adding to this, there were visible stains on the carpet, which detracted from the overall experience and gave the room a neglected appearance.Another issue was the noise in the morning. The cleaning staff repeatedly slammed doors, which made it impossible to sleep in or relax. This lack of consideration for guests was frustrating and unexpected in a hotel of this caliber.In summary, while the location, staff, and amenities like the rooftop and breakfast were excellent, the small rooms, high price, cleanliness issues, and morning disturbances made it difficult to justify the cost. With some improvements, this hotel could live up to its potential, but for now, I would hesitate to recommend it.
