Don’t expect much
Liked: The history and the building. Walkable distance to most things downtown.
Disliked: Staff didn’t seem to like their jobs.. not very friendly. Had to go find someone in the bar/ restaurant part yo check out.. Went to eat dinner there and were told to sit anywhere empty and we did, and were told to move by a rude staff member who said it’s for the people playing pool.. no one was sitting there.

This was a great hotel...
Liked: Checking in was easy and friendly. Our room was cute and clean. Bathrooms were clean and ours was right across the hall. I loved the coffee station being a few feet away from my door!
Disliked: My only issue was very minor and maybe a "me " thing

We had fun, price and...
Liked: All really good: Game room, staff, ambiance, complimentary coffee/tea, bathroom cleanliness, location, price.
Disliked: Very loud kitchen noise (banging pots and pans, loud voices and music). The only quiet hours for kitchen were about 2AM to 6AM. The train noise was also significant and happened several times throughout the night. There were a few other less-than-ideal aspects to our stay but the noise was the thing that would prevent us from coming back. I couldn’t sleep a wink and I usually don’t have trouble sleeping (and used to work on noisy ships).
