Liked: The movie

Great historic hotel

Liked: Spent a lovely evening watching a movie in their theater (check out the porcelain in the gents there!) and then grabbing a freshly cooked pizza and hard cider in the restaurant. The room was fine and the shared bathrooms were good too, bearing in mind that the building is old and historic!
Disliked: Though it didn't bother us, the train klaxon at the close-by station is pretty loud -- there are earplugs in the bedside drawer if you want.

Liked: Every year I stay here and enjoy the whole town that lights up for the holiday they had live music great venue for shopping and movies and the food is exceptional.

A taste of history

Liked: Historic feel of building with modern touches. Very reasonably priced. Pool tables & restaurant downstairs.
Disliked: Check-in process was a little confusing.Nice to have a free movie in theater downstairs. But the theater itself seemed grundgy & in need of a clean. Accommodations themselves were really clean.

A cozy step back in...

Liked: Cozy cozy and more cozy! This place is beautiful I wish we were staying longer just to soak it all in. We just randomly checked hotels in the area it popped up and I’m so glad we stayed. This building is so historical and the McMenamins really made her shine. Didn’t even mind having a separate bathroom. There are 3 or 4 with full showers and two with just toilets. Very comfortable. They have water and coffee by the stairs. Rooms are beautiful and so cozy. Now we are about to grab breakfast downstairs. Love this place.
Disliked: Nothing I loved all of it. I’d definitely stay again.
