A stay with a big...

Liked: Our charming room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. We loved exploring the property and the proximity to downtown. The quirky personality of McMenamin's properties is always a draw for us. We've stayed in three now.
Disliked: The parking was an issue. We had to drive around the block and wait for someone to leave in order to secure a space. I can't imagine what it's like in the summer season. We were there in January.

I really liked the atmosphere...

Liked: I like the style of the buildings, the outside fire pits, being able to roam around downtown.
Disliked: The Coffee.

Amazing property with a lot...

Liked: This is a large property with an exceptional amount of charm and character. There are several options for eating and drinking on the property, including outdoor patios with fire pits. The theater and Turkish style bath are amazing.
Disliked: While I realize that dim lighting adds to the ambience of the hotel rooms, it would be really nice to have the option of turning on a bright light(s) so one could actually see in the room. Importantly, the bathroom was well lit, but one could not easily read in the bedroom as it was so dimly lit.
