Liked: Beautiful and unique interior

Enjoyable stay. Reasonable price. Historical...

Liked: Front Desk staff was very nice, Friendly. also had a great time at the hot tub, and was open plenty late. Enjoyed the free coffee and the little lobby area upon check out.
Disliked: There was a bit of street noise, and Some noise from other Guests nearby. The building was over 100 years ago so it’s to be expected.

Liked: The soaking pool and it being open untill 1am
Disliked: The location has gone downhill! Our car got broken into and left us with a broken window.

Exceptional

Small but well appointed rooms...

Liked: Breakfast and staff were original and delightful with enjoyable background music and l9vely landscaped patio to watch the many passersby and birds.
Disliked: The room was small but amenable but there was a definite musty smell that seemed to be covered up wish some sort of heavy air freshener. It caused us to find a way to open the window a bit by putting a travel size shampoo bottle under the bottom of the window. Nice thing was we could get the old windows to open.

Cozy, Quaint, Historic Hotel in...

Liked: The hotel is quaint and very inviting. The room was clean and very comfortable for a historic building. It has European style bathrooms in which you share with other guests. It was always clean and ready for use.
Disliked: Parking for the hotel is nonexistent. They do offer suggestions for parking. About a block and 1/2 away is a well-lit parking garage that is secured in the middle of the night. It did cost $26.00 for overnight parking but was more secure than parking on the street.
