Nice place great location

Liked: Great location breakfast was nice but not exceptional.
Disliked: Long walk to room lots of turn right left right again type walk, not massive but just a bit irritating but it's an old building so unavailable.

Hotel in general is good...

Liked: The main section (bar/restaurant lounge)of the hotel is very good and has a good atmosphere at night. The staff are nice and friendly. Breakfast was excellent.
Disliked: I'm basing this review solely on our accommodation across the road. Our room was in whats known as the Townhouse which is located a short distance across the road from the main hotel. The entrance and stairs are extremely shabby and in dire need of a makeover. I'm led to believe this used to be staff accommodation at one time. The room itself was of a decent enough standard but badly let down by the toilet/shower room which was very scruffy in appearance and looks dirty. The bed was large and fairly comfortable. If the Townhouse is used as an over-spill when main hotel is full then I'd suggest making guests aware of the substandard offering and offer a reduced fee. Our friends stayed in the main hotel and I think we paid the same as them. There was a fault with the entry system at night (22.30 ish) and we had to wait 30 minutes before fault was rectified to allow us to gain entry to our room. Staff were very apologetic and could not fault them. I'd suggest the owners/management give some serious consideration to upgrading the Townhouse accommodation. Hotel in general is good with a nice atmosphere but badly let down by the shabby building across the road.

OK maybe!! No No available...

Liked: Good food
Disliked: Was in room 306 town house. As an elderly couple difficulty with stairs. Could have been easier with additional banisters on wall.Ongoing refurbishment caused noise daily.
