Kindest hosts in Hawkes Bay

Liked: Yvonne, Lisa and Jennie were incredibly lovely and kind. We felt like more than just lodge guests. We loved the kitchen - cozy, beautiful views.
Disliked: Could have been warmer! Bedrooms and kitchen warmed up but the living room and billiards room were too cold to enjoy.

Liked: Yvonne, Lisa and Jennie were incredibly lovely and kind. We felt like more than just “lodge guests”. We loved the kitchen - cozy, beautiful views.
Disliked: Could have been warmer! Bedrooms and kitchen warmed up but the living room and billiards room were too cold to enjoy.

It was disappointing and uncomfortable

Liked: The house was a beautiful historical house. It was clean.
Disliked: Felt uncomfortable when outside our room in the common rooms as host was always lurking and seemed to be watching us. We had some work to do and needed to charge our computers. We left them charging when we left and came back to our room to find someone had been in to our room and turned the power outlets off. This happened more than once and was very frustrating. Wifi was extremely spotty in our room. We mentioned this to the host and she was of no help and told us the wifi worked for her.

Disliked: The shower had a nozzle that was hard to regulate. in the other room my friend had the shower had a shower curtain that stuck to her body as she showered.

Beautiful house, inside and out and fabulous host.

Liked: it was such an interesting house both past and current history, lots of things to do inside or just hang out on one of the verandas and stare at the view.
Disliked: I couldnt stay longer due to work getting in the road
