Liked: Stunning place to stay. Maintained the history while keeping the interior fresh and modern.

Quiet and comfort in a...

Liked: Room was lovely, with a separate area with an electric kettle, small frig, sink and espresso machine. Also dishes, knives/forks/spoons, and both wine and water glasses.Lovely view of the garden.Best of all, it is VERY QUIET.
Disliked: It's a bit far from the Central Business District, with museums, harbor and the Salamanca market, but for us, it was worth exchanging for the quiet and comfort that the Maylands Lodge provided.

New Town's hidden

Liked: Maylands is a hidden gem located in New Town. Close to the heart of Hobart, Maylands offers guests 5-Star suites within a magnificent mansion built in the 1880s. As a listed heritage building it does not have lifts but our suitcases were carried up two flights of stairs by the most pleasant young man who greeted us on arrival.There is plenty of on-site parking available.

Beautiful manor lodge to stay...

Liked: The staff were kind enough to wait for us for our late check-in, very helpful and friendly in answering our questions about Hobart. The room we stayed in was beautiful and clean, and sleep was excellent because the beds were so comfy. The included continental breakfast was a plus - VERY GOOD COFFEE.
