A cozy old hotel

Liked: I love SF's old, grand two star hotels. They have so much character and history. They are cozy and charming instead of sleek and modern. This one was especially great - friendly and helpful staff, very chill environment, and a nice, spatious, child-proof room our toddler had a great time exploring.
Disliked: The free continental breakfast was a welcome surprise, so I won't complain about its simplicity.

Always a great staying

Liked: I go regularly to this hotel, and it always fulfils my expectations. Rooms are spacious, cozy, and quiet. The bed is comfortable. Staff is very polite. WiFi works well. There was a nice view of the city from the window. The position is excellent to tour the city.
Disliked: Breakfast is not great, but for me this is a minor issue. There are plenty of restaurants serving breakfast nearby.

Liked: Location, staff, cost, accommodations. Love the historical feel. And market next door is tremendous.
Disliked: Nothing notable.
