Liked: The location was fantastic, just in the center of Malmö, and close to the rail station. The hotel has a very unique charm, and the breakfast is served in the old cellar with ceiling vaults. The breakfast was really good.
Disliked: The only thing I did not like, was the modern art exposed all through the hotel, both the pictures, installations and statues. It did not contrast with the old features of the hotel, but standed out odd and totally out of place.

Disliked: Was not clean under the bed. The wardrobe makes noise when you open it. I understand the hotel is old, but the furniture should be well maintained.

Jewel just steps from central...

Liked: The history of the hotel, the basement is 700 years old, they serve breakfast there. I liked the beds they raise up to elevate your legs, head. You feel like you are staying in a real medieval hotel.
Disliked: The tv was small, for people with mobility there can be a lot of walking to your room, the hallways are long and winding with lots of staircases and steps but there is an elevator

Liked: Really nice hotel with great atmosphere and central location. A historic building (e.g. the former house of Corfitz Ulfeldt and Leonora Christina) and a large art collection. Nice breakfast (incl. fresh waffels) and spacious room. We have already booked our next stay!

Brilliant stay in unique hotel

Liked: Fabulous breakfast in the vaults. Excellent location close to main square. Fascinating history. All the little details like the library and the art works and the lift.
