Disliked: The system wasn't working when I arrived and I waited for hours to see if the phones, internet, or key card system was going to start working. I told the guy at reception that I have to work using Wi-Fi as my work day started at 4pm (I arrived hours before and was running out of time) and my meetings were going to run continuously until 1am. He told me to go to another hotel and use the lobby Wi-Fi. I said I wasn't comfortable with that as it would be strange to loiter for 9 hours at a hotel I am not staying in, awkwardly packing and unpacking every time I had to use the restroom between meetings, and constantly hunting for a quiet spot near a plug. Additionally, I am a 5'3" woman traveling alone and felt uncomfortable walking around downtown at 1am with a lap top. I asked if I could get a refund for at least one of my nights stay so I could book elsewhere as I didn't feel safe with the option presented by May Ramblas. He got frustrated stating that he is the one suffering here so I should feel bad for him. He started talking to himself and was complaining loudly about how he has offered me a really great option and I am ungrateful. He said I can take it or leave it, but I'm not getting a refund for anything. I left to walk around and think about my options, calling Booking.com to see if there was anything they could do to help salvage some sort of refund so I could find anywhere else to stay for the night. They couldn't contact the hotel as the hotel's system was down, so I had to figure out a solution for the night and gamble on whether the hotel would respond to the request. I only ever spent time in the hotel lobby but was charged for two nights stay. They continue to refuse to refund a cent of it. No one should stay here.

Liked: The room was nice and clean.The AC was very good and worked very well.The room was spacious.The beds were made up regularly and cleaned everyday.
Disliked: We were given the first floor and our room was facing the street.Me and my son who is 27 we both could not sleep during the night due to the noise in the street.It was so annoying and disturbing and we thought to complain but didn’t want to go through the hassle again of moving rooms as we had undone all our packing.We just had to tolerate the noise from outside and due to not having any sleep we didn’t enjoy our holiday and we were dead tired in the day.The taps had no hot and cold signs on it and we had to fiddle around to get some hot/cold water.
