Liked: The whole place is excellent, great location, food, facilities and the staff are above and beyond.....all of them, especially Nicki on reception.

Lovely surroundings .

Liked: The room was very clean . The surroundings of the hotel are beautiful .The history is evident.The bed was more of a king and very comfortable.Bathroom was lovely .
Disliked: I feel that for the price of the hotel it’s acting really as two -three star .The breakfast was cold and undercooked. Simple things . There were no plug sockets by the beds. Although we were given an extension lead .The table we were sat on for dinner in Henry’s bar needed dismantling. We asked to be near the fire for a special dinner . The table was rickety. Hardly Any tea/coffees in room . Really the bare minimum.It needs a little review of the room . It isn’t a cheap room .
