Liked: It's a beautiful place
Disliked: The staff member in the morning was very rude as I was leaving saying I hadn't paid when in fact I had paid in full at the point of booking...not how you want your stay to end

Liked: Food and staff were particularly good. Upkeep needs attention. eg toilet seat., fan and table top. Radiator wasn't working and electric radiator just adequate. We liked the history. We would stay again.

Nice hotel and surroundings

Liked: The rooms in this hotel are great and fully functional. The room was located in the courtyard and the surrounding was very nice

Comfortable refuge from busyness we...

Liked: We value peace and the rooms we had fulfilled that. It was a Song Thrush singing which woke my daughter!
Disliked: The Monta EV charger is over-priced. For a slow charger it should be half the price.

Most welcoming and friendly atmosphere...

Liked: Was given a complimentary upgrade to the Lodge which was excellent. Very spacious and comfortable.
Disliked: Trying to negotiate the M25 is a nightmare at the moment. Hopefully once the roadwork's are complete things will be ok.
