I want to come back...

Liked: Breakfast amazing and a surprise. Such fresh fruit. And pancakes!Serene surroundings. The calm I was looking for happened after breakfast as I walked through gardens and sat mindfully at this pioneering woman Mary's grave. A good place to be comforted and grieve as I lost mum last March and too busy to do so properly.Opportunity to unwind and be mindful, except that I was with my 2 young boys who were eating the sugar packets outside the cafe!Cafe and gift shop as well as the staff at shop and cafe were supportive and kind as were patrons.Undercover parking at decent price. Maybe gets cheaper over 2 or 3 nights?A hidden secret. A calm, safe space amidst the often as often stressful commercial surrounds.A great alternative to staying in the city after a show or dinner. But don't put prices up!
Disliked: Some plants and natural elements in some areas eg the breakfast room would be nice. A bit sterile and everyone so quiet all you hear is clanging. Maybe some music?Staff member at desk did not smile once for any guest I observed. Should not be in a customer service role as it rubs off on guests who feel tense. If it was cheap cheap I'd let it go but...West facing room was hot on entering and the air con wouldn't switch on in the morning for some reason. Was so hard to find the way to enter. Please sign it better as you can't just do a U-turn on one-way street and you end up going all around North Sydney to get back.
