Would stay again

Liked: The room was lovely, if a bit too warm. Staff were very friendly and very eager to meet/help with my dog, which he enjoyed.Location is great and the surroundings are beautiful.
Disliked: Food was so-so, especially for the price.

Comfortable great value, little dated

Liked: Staff, really the young lady at the desk and the young guy in the restaurant made our night Bed was really comfortable
Disliked: Shower curtain was 6” above the bath, getting a little dated but I wouldn’t think twice about staying here again

Liked: The staff were perfectly friendly. And that's about it.
Disliked: I'm sure this hotel was nice when it was built however many decades ago. But the company that owns it doesn't seem to have spent any money on it since.Booked as it is right next to Marwell Zoo, but there's no way I'd stay here again. You can see from the photos the state of the place. Avoid breakfast too if you do come here, the juices tasted off and the brown bananas...

Liked: Really private, large hotel. Right next to the zoo! Exceptional staff that were all lovely, all times of the day.
Disliked: Nothing

Passable

Liked: It was a decent size room and bed same for the shower
Disliked: Although the bed was big it was not very comfortable and the pillows were gross and rock hard. Because the balcony’s all link together you can’t leave your balcony door open for air flow because people can just walk straight into the room. The room gets really warm and there’s no air con or air flow which also makes it quite uncomfortable. The room was fairly tidy however the bathroom smelt really bad, overall once you get past the reception area it just looks run down from there.
