We had a lovely time...

Liked: Everything about Marvels was excellent. Debby is a wonderful host, she makes lovely breakfasts every morning, the location on the creek is lovely (although we were not in a position of enjoying with snow and ice on the ground), and the facility is interesting and well maintained. We also very much enjoyed exploring the Eastern Shore in Maryland and its history.
Disliked: There is really very little to dislike about Marvels on the Creek. The one downside might be for people who want to be in the middle of the action Marvels is in a quiet community with limited dining options (although we had good meals in Cambridge and environs).

Beautiful grounds, great food, great...

Liked: Our stay was lovely, easily the highlight of the year. Breakfast was truly exceptional, the grounds were beautiful, and we were able to relax for what felt like the first time all year. Highly recommend Suicide Bridge Restaurant across the river as we had the best fish we've ever eaten. Debbie, the host, was so delightful and and excellent conversationalist, we will definitely be coming back!

Exceptional

Liked: This was what a bed and breakfast stay should be like. The property is spotless, the location on the water is lovely, the hot tub was delicious, the shower was great, and breakfast (including homemade lemon bread) was perfect. Ample towels and crisp, soft sheets. Most of all, Debby is a warm and responsive host who loves people and makes her guests feel pampered yet at home.
Disliked: Nothing.

Disliked: There was no WIFI code provided. But we were not there very long, just one night. By the first time we could have asked, at breakfast, we were ready to depart.

Liked: A wonderful breakfast. Very gracious host. Wonderful location. We enjoyed sitting outside taking in the beautiful surroundings and nature all around.
Disliked: The room on the first floor was very well appointed, with a wonderful bath. Our room on the upper floor was a bit more dated.

Exceptional

Liked: Beginning for the great and warm personal touch given by the household. Great breakfasts, and the location is simply gorgeous.
Disliked: Nothing all was great!
