England's most northerly hotel just 300 yards from the Scottish Border the Marshall Meadows Manor House is set in 15 acres woodland gardens and features sea views and good food. Marshall Meadows Manor House is only 1 mile from Berwick-upon-Tweed with its Elizabethan walls and its mainline railway station. The Berwickshire Coastal Path runs by the end of the hotel's grounds. Each room has a bathroom with a walk in showers. Other features include tea/coffee and ironing facilities. The restaurant has 2 levels a wood-paneled mezzanine floor a ground floor with a high ceiling. Using fresh local ingredients Restaurant 1782 offers seasonal menus to bring you the best culinary delights Northumberland and the Scottish Borders can offer. Open for lunch 12:00 to 15:00 and from 18:00 to 21:00 every evening for dinner. The Cocktail bar is open from 12:00 to 22:00 every day with a range of offerings from bar snacks light lunches or Afternoon Teas. There truly is something for everyone.

Liked: Such a lovely hotel in great grounds.Room was large, comfortable and just wish we had stayed more than one night.Dinner was lovely as was breakfast.Will definitely visit again.Staff friendly and helpful.

It is a fantastic place...

Liked: We liked everything about this hotel. The room was comfy, the food delicious, the grounds beautiful, and the staff were absolutely superb. What's not to like? I felt like I used to feel in hotels. It was a real treat. The decor is super, the food is excellent, really hot and tasty and the staff are genuinely interested and want you to enjoy yourselves. It is a gem of a hotel, can't wait for a return visit.

Pleasantly surprised at quality of...

Liked: All the staff were very welcoming and paid attention to our dog! It was advertised as a dog friendly hotel and it certainly was. Dog could be with us in bedroom, bar and restaurant. Rooms spacious and clean. Comfortable bed. Good breakfast.

Our pod stay

Liked: We stayed in a Hotelier Pod. The bed was amazing slept so well. The hot tub was a lovely touch just the right temperature. We had robes and slippers in the room aswell as drinks in the mini fridge. Location was really peaceful and scenic. We had breakfast included and it waa delicious .
Disliked: Maybe if the hot tub was more private. I can imagine the summer months being quite busy with people passing but it isn't such a big deal.
