Normally outstanding but AC broken

Liked: As always, incredible location and we do love staying here. Have stayed about 5 times now. Normally great but felt really let down this time
Disliked: We were "upgraded" but the room we were put in had air conditioning in the middle of hot December. The AC was broken and there was a fan placed in the room for confort. But it obviously blew only warm air around the room. Tried to phone someone to ask to be moved to another room with AC and the room phone didn't work at all. Used my cellphone to call the hotel and spoke with someone. However sadly no staff member came to our room to "check on it" as promised over the phone. The glass balustrade on the balcony was also broken and hanging on by a thread. Would not recommend that room with small children. Normally impeccable service. Not sure what changed from our last few visits. Disappointed to be paying over $200/night to not have air conditioning.

Disliked: Check in process and needing someone to come to carpark to get my car out. Air-conditioning seems to struggle a bit
