We needed a relaxing holiday...

Liked: The lagoon was phenomenal, service was fantastic, and the Tepinyaki was to die for, best dinner we have ever had.
Disliked: We had to leave.

Liked: Very disappointed, the weather was not good, clearly not the responsibility of the Marriott, however that being the situation, there are simply zero facilities to occupy children. A games room which houses a few machines for one hour per child which you pay for, fully booked so not available! A small igloo with cushions showing 3 films a day again so many children, unavailable in the main! Absolutely not a hotel suited to families!! Only 2 chairs in a room for 4! 2 chairs in a room for 4! One single chair on the balcony!!! Absolutely disgusting. No whirlpool as advertised. Appalling!No entertainment for adults or children, a complete bore. Would refuse to stay there for free!! Not 5 star, 2 Star at best. Would not recommend, advice stay at home!!!!!!!!!!
Disliked: Was in a disabled room, which I am not!Just an awful place to be stranded in poor weather.Facilities non existent! Child or adult! Hire shop did not have sufficient equipment to cater for guests ie. 16 pool scooters, 32 batteries however at 12.30 afternoon all out - hour at a time, no batteries charged so no scooters available until 9am the following day, even though it had poured rain for previous 2 days! Not enough loungers to accommodate people, nowhere to sit. Over half an hour wait for a coffee! Check out at 10am, however went to my disabled room (which I am not!!) room was occupied by housekeeping, bed stripped etc at 9.20am. I returned at 9.20 for a shower, room no longer available, the guy said he had looked in the wardrobe and nothing was in there so ASSUMED I had checked out!!!’. No shower. 5 star, 2 at best!!! Used the pool with the children before thankfully leaving, checked with reception that showering services would be available afterwards, assured absolutely there were showers available for guests checking out, but no there were no such facilities! Had to try and wash 2 children and ourselves in the general public toilets, but yes sold as 5 star! Disgusting despicable service and outright lies.

Disliked: Drinks were exuberant- Doesn’t need to be $26 for a cocktail No minibar in room Nothing on tv - stream from phone only - maybe people dont want to touch their phones on holiday !Pool area a a little bit of rubbish in out of the way area Breakfast pretty expensive - and doesn’t include a barista coffee ? Cmon Pay for parking
