Our reservation was mixed up but we are very thankful that the hotel staff went out of their way to make sure we had a room for the night. The room was clean.

Disliked: Breakfast @ the restaurant was not very good but was very costly.

The staff were excellent. Had to switch my reservation and it was no problem. Clean rooms and a good view. Highly recommend.

Disliked: Door operating system has to be checked. Cleaning bathroom from rust on the shower floor will be good. Fixing toilet paper holder will be nice.

Just an old hotel

Liked: I liked the concept of stsying in a vintage hotel.
Disliked: I didn't like check-in was 4pm. I didn't like that the room were very small even after a major renovation. I didn't like that it felt like an old prperty; I have stayed at older properties that were able maintain the charm of the old while not making the property feel dated. This hotel felt very dated.

Liked: We ate in the adjoining restaurant for breakfast. Nice selection. Staff somewhat scattered, could use some more training to stay on top of tasks (had to ask for coffee refill and then repeat request)
Disliked: We booked a room with a sofa bed. Wasn’t asked about need for bedding at check in so we assumed it was provided … discovered at bedtime it was NOT provided. Went to front desk. Told sheets could be provided but no blanket, and was that ok? It was December! Said they could provide a second sheet to make up for lack of blankets. when I asked if a blanket could be provided for our second nights stay, was told this was uncertain. No other options given, nor any kind of compensation for this inconvenience . My son slept in his clothes. I went to insist on for a blanket on morning of second stay and was told by another employee “of course, as blankets had arrived the day before” unsure why a blanket was not brought to our room immediately if this was the case.
