Our reservation was mixed up but we are very thankful that the hotel staff went out of their way to make sure we had a room for the night. The room was clean.
Liked: It is clean.
Disliked: Breakfast @ the restaurant was not very good but was very costly.

The staff were excellent. Had to switch my reservation and it was no problem. Clean rooms and a good view. Highly recommend.

Adequate, but no excuse having...
Liked: King room was nice and spacious but in need of maintenance to tighten the toilet seat and the arms of the desk chair.
Disliked: I downloaded their app and checked in on-line for 4pm. There is no elite area at the front desk for this, you have to wait in line anyway to check in/get a key and present a credit card for incidentals, so I see no point in downloading the app! At 4pm I went to the front desk to get a key and was advised my room was not ready, that they will text me. After no text was received by 6pm I went back to the front desk and inquired and was given a room. Had I waited to hear from them first, I wouldn't have checked in until 8:03pm - the time I received a text advising my room was ready...... This was extremely inconvenient as I had traveled a long distance, had places to be, people to see, needed to change clothes, etc...... I appreciate it was very busy that day, there was a convention in town, but to make people wait so long to check-in defies half the purpose of having a room. I wasn't alone; those waiting in the bar for their rooms were receiving calls at 8pm, so I'm still grateful they did accommodate me at 6pm. Front desk staff were apologetic with valid excuses, but still, y'all can't make people wait that long to check in. You also can't expect employees to deal with one frustrated patron after another. Front desk and housekeeping were super busy, corporate needs to put more people on staff if/when they are That busy. Also, if it matters to you, I did not notice a coffee maker, fridge, or microwave in the room, but I didn't need those things so I didn't research that prior to booking. Luckily I was able to secure a free parking space outside the hotel on the street which was great.

Liked: Gorgeous historical hotel with generously sized rooms that are well appointed and clean. Great buffet breakfast at a fair price for all that is offered. Excellent coffee. Friendly and very helpful staff across all roles. Enjoyed the Valet parking, too.
Disliked: The distance to garage from hotel so that is why I prefer the Valet services.
