Liked: Convenient location to JFK, the free airport shuttle is a big plus. There's a 7/11 at a short walking distance (about 15 minutes) that will take you through the local neighborhood and makes for a pleasant walk.
Disliked: The staff could have been more welcoming - not what I would expect from a Mariott. Also, the 'store' prices next to reception are ridiculous (almost 40 USD for a 'bottle' of wine that will get you 2 glasses, tops).
