Good and Bad at Marriott...

Liked: attractive hotel with comfortable beds. pet friendly. ample parking spaces. dining room food tasty.
Disliked: bathtub slippery with no tub mat. dangerous. poor water pressure from bathroom sink. dining room looks like an afterthought.

Convenient and comfortable stay in...

Liked: It was convenient to the horse park where we were planning an event. The restaurant had a great band and a nice atmosphere.
Disliked: The jacuzzi wasn’t working. What a let down! We booked the hotel because after a day of riding we wanted to relax in the whirlpool. It was a total disapppointment

Liked: yes, I reserved the room prior to getting there supposed to have a balcony supposed to have extra pillows was not the room that I paid for. I called down to the front desk requested another room. They said they would call me back never called me back. the bed was hard as a rock. The worst bed mattress I ever slept on. I had to go get a massage the next day to help with my back pain
Disliked: I reserved the room before I got there and paid for it before I got there. It was supposed to have a balcony and it did not. It was supposed to have extra pillows. It did not the room was very dated. The floor was dirty, and the mattress was the worst mattress I have ever slept on, I went to get a massage from a massage parlor to my back then in such poor shape as did my wife for the very same reason we stay at nothing but Marriott and we expected more from Griffin as we live in Lexington and we have stayed at the Griffin many times

Disliked: The inside swimming pool and spa was closed down and the outside spa was closed. The outside pool was open but very dirty with all kinds of bugs dead in the water. Couldn't seim without the bugs in the water. Made it very nasty
