I would come back to...

Liked: I loved everything about the resort except the last day I was put into another room because I extended my stay. We could not operate the light or ceiling fan because the remote was not in the room and I paid for a King suite in the tower but was given a double bed room. The room was humid until the air came on and then once it turned off it was back humid again. The sheets on the beds were different than the other room that I had previously stayed....the sheers were rough and not comfortable at all and then I woke up to my thighs burning. The sheets had my legs with all types of bumps on them. Over all my stay was very good but that last night could have been better.
Disliked: I did not like the bedding on the beds at all....they were too rough and it was hot off and on.

A must to go to....

Liked: Nolan- assisted us first thing. He was pleasurable, welcoming, friendly and made us feel at home! He is a must! Eileen - at the front desk, we had some issues and she happily resolved them and made sure we were satisfied. All with a sense of humor and a smile! Thank you so much! Gitana- was a wonderful ray of sunshine at our meals. Right on the service with a smile and was more than accommodating to us. Takes good care of the service and food was wonderful.
Disliked: The rug in the room was a little stinky. We rolled it up. They had some construction Saturday morning at 0615, but made sure it didn’t happen again.

I wish I had demanded...

Liked: I paid for a double king pool view. Upon arrival was sent to the "sandpiper" building. I assume this was due to the very, very, very, large event taking over the main building. the sandpiper building is located on the ocean. That moment felt amazing, to be located so close to the beach. That brief moment is basically where the joy ended & the misery began.
Disliked: The room was awful. It smelled like dog/ cat urine and musty mold. the bathroom was basically in the kitchen. (privacy) which would have been ok if there was some way to be modest about changing/cleaning and not being viewed by the cook & those eating at the counter top table. we were eventually moved to another less pungent room, with the same bathroom/kitchen issue but with a bonus of destroyed main door lock/jam. We self secured the door & tried to sleep while the other hotel guests were loudly enjoying themselves & their voices amplified by the poor acoustic design of the open "lobby". Then waking up with the guests in the room next to you, drinking their coffee & staring at you lying in bed. (their balcony looked directly into our room). ps bring your own ice, the buildings ice machines do not work.This is sad, because during the recent hurricane we stayed in the main building & loved everything about it. which is why when faced with an immediate turn around trip the same month we didn't hesitate to rebook this resort.
