Location, Staff and Price Trump...

Liked: The location and price of the Marquis of Granby make this a compelling place to stay. The staff are friendly and helpful and the pub itself is charming too.
Disliked: The rooms are a little tired, but is this important when they so affordable? The staff were happy to accommodate our daughter in our room too, but I have to say the pull out bed was one of the most uncomfortable beds I've ever slept in!

Liked: The friendless of the female staff making you feel comfortable and welcome.
Disliked: The male staff had alter ego's and only interested in the local regulars . Drinking on duty and only interested in serving the locals. This is really a business where the owners need to be on site to experience what is happening.

Disliked: Broken toilet seat.
