Maron Hotel And Suites, Danbury

Liked: Staff was friendly and professional! The bar had good food and drinks, also with a friendly staff.
Disliked: When we checked in at 3:30 and went up to our room there was a maid still cleaning our room. We needed to use the bathroom and we couldn't. When you opened the curtain the windows were covered with white scum and you couldn't even see through. They were disgusting..

Liked: It was nice to have a little complimentary coffee, juice, fruit and a pastry. We were lucky to have a microwave in our room, and after zapping the pastry for a few seconds it was divine!
Disliked: Except for the bathroom the room lighting was WAY too dark. Simply installing brighter light bulbs would easily remedy the situation.

A very dirty outdated hotel

Liked: Stuff are nice.
Disliked: I have never written a negative review for a hotel and I am generally pleased. A clean bed and good shower enhance my stay. However, this hotel is extremely dirty.

Great value and comfortable for...

Liked: The location is very convenient to the Danbury and route 7 area. The breakfast choices were very limited but it is nice to be able to grab something quickly on the way out. Our visit was around the holidays and the hotel was beautifully decorated. Staff was very friendly.
Disliked: The lobby was freezing cold, and the windows of the room was very drafty. Luckily the heat kicked in quickly and kept the room a comfortable temperature, but we couldn’t open the drapes at all because of how much cold air radiated from the windows.
