Great value, sea views and...

Liked: Great place to stay in Kiel. I was upgraded to have a view of the Sea, my room had a balcony so I could have my coffee watching the boats. Room was very comfortable, coffee machine, warm, bath. I also used the swimming pool which was great. I ate in the restaurant twice, both times were excellent. I love the original interiors, warm wood and brass. Easy walking distance and bus stop near hotel.
Disliked: I only wish they hadn’t ‘updated’ the restaurant as it no longer has the same grandeur as the original interiors. Put some paint stripper on the painted wood and bring back the warmth of wood.
