Liked: The host Mary was super welcoming. The whole town of Mariposa was mind-blowing, I absolutely fell in love with the place. For such a tiny little town it has SO MUCH to offer.
Disliked: Our room had a bit of an acetone/terpentyne smell. I think that was some kind of one-off though.

Liked: If you want something with character and history stay here. Mary is an amazing host, she will help you with anything you need. And Mariposa is stunning, with enough restaurants and bars to keep you entertained for a small town. This is not a hotel for people who like modern soulless places to stay, but we thought it was amazing.

Liked: The inn is a fantastic place to stay when visiting Yosemite National Park, just 45-60 minutes from the entrance. There’s free parking behind the inn with an easy access to the hotel.We had a wonderful two-night stay. The innkeeper was amazing and very friendly, providing excellent local information. The room was spacious, sparkling clean, and the towels were fluffy and soft! She even prepared a breakfast bag for us as we headed to climb Half Dome at night.Breakfast was simple, with muffins, tangerines, bananas, coffee, and tea. Plus, there’s a supermarket and a variety of restaurants nearby, all within walking distance. The inn was very authentic and we loved it there. We will definitely return!

Liked: The location downtown was very accessible to restaurants and shops. The building and amenities historic appearance. The hummingbirds at breakfast on the back deck were great.
Disliked: Experienced a lot of noise with people partying outside from a rowdy bar next door that kept us up most of second night. The bar is hidden in back of building next door. The room had no shower just a tub with handheld sprayer. The complimentary breakfast was minimal selection.
