Liked: Marina Inn was recommended by my sister and brother-in-law, who live nearby in senior housing/apts.The bed was very comfortable, and overall the room was adequate for the price range. Good shower. Affordable and comfortable enough for relatively budget lodging.

Disliked: The TV was not working , when I call in they said there was no one there that could help . They should have offered me another room ! The coffee pot in the room did not work either!

Liked: For a 2 star motel the beds were better than many of the 3 and 4 star hotels I've stayed in. It was freezing out, and after dinner my daughter and I walked laps around the inside of the motel. Was great. The accessibility of everything is excellent. There is so many places to eat with great food (Wally's Chowder House - Best Clam Chowder I've ever had anywhere in my travels with 18 years in the Navy. And Red Robin to name a couple) and it's really close to the Des Moines Marina and beach.
Disliked: I really didn't have anything I disliked. If anything could be improved, would be the breakfast. It is a free continental breakfast which you would expect.
